I created this website as a place to share the incredible knowledge, tips, and tricks that I’ve been gathering since I began my green journey in 2009. In that time, I’ve learned that with the right habits and skills, it is easy being green.

If you look around, it’s not hard to see that there is an increasing consciousness about the food that we eat and how it affects our health and the world around us. Food – real food – is powerful. It has the power to nourish and to heal. Best of all, food has the power to prevent.

In 2011, my husband was diagnosed with Stage 4 testicular cancer. He has since recovered, and I would like to think that our green smoothie and juice lifestyle has been part of his return to health.

I’m very interested in prevention. I want to treat my own body right so that I can live in the best health possible for a good long life, and more importantly, I want to keep my husband healthy after his battle with cancer and his successful healing.

My life has changed so much since I started incorporating green smoothies and green juice into my daily life. I could never have imagined how good I could feel by starting each morning by blasting my body with the powerful phytonutrients of green vegetables.

Top Priorities

  • Green! Green! Green!
  • Incorporating more raw & whole foods into meals.
  • Replacing sugar with low-glycemic alternatives like dates, stevia, coconut sugar, etc.
  • Increasing the fibre and providing options for gluten-free friends whenever possible.
  • Omission of animal products for a more vegan-friendly lifestyle.
